Lorraine Kelly took aim at the stars on Dancing On Ice who already have dancing experience, after her pal and co-star Ria Hebden was left in the skate-off.
As one of the first batch of contestants to take to the ice this weekend, Ria was gutted to be revealed as the first star in the dreaded skate-off.
But Lorraine was annoyed with this result, believing she had done well on the night.
Not only that, she made note of the fact Ria had no dancing background and had never skated on ice before the show.
Telling Ria she was "too lovely" to say it how it was, Lorraine argued the celebrities on the show who were professional dancers did have an advantage.
Ria had said: "Because I’ve never skated before and I’ve never been professionally dance trained, you have to keep your feet on the ice to get better and better, so that consistency should hopefully put me in good stead for this Sunday.
"But yeah, you've gotta go through this stuff. It’s showbiz, you’ve got to smile through it."
Lorraine told her of her performance: "Wow honestly, I was watching it thinking wow. For somebody who has never danced or skated before.
"Obviously, and I know you won't say this because you are too lovely, but the two dancers... they have got such an advantage haven't they because they know how to put their bodies.
"If you can dance in the first place you have got a massive advantage."
Dr Hilary Jones, who also appeared on the show in 2010, agreed with this as he praised Ria's debut performance.
It comes as show judge Ashley Banjo defended Brendan Cole taking part, despite him being a former Strictly Come Dancing pro.
Show fans took to social media to slam Brendan's 'advantage' over the other contestants after his first performance, believing his skills were down to his dancing background.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Monday, he said it would not help him on the ice with this being a whole other skill.
He commented: "He was flying over that ice. A lot of people say, 'Oh he's a dancer, he's a pro'.
"Listen, I'm a dancer, I'm a pro and there is no way I would be able to come out and get off that panel and do what Brendan did that well. The way he translates his skills is amazing."
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV.
