Lorraine Kelly was stunned after Ed Balls made an admission about eating roast dinners.
The TV presenter interviewed the former politician during Friday's instalment of her chat show. Ed has developed a passion for cooking and was on the programme to discuss his new cook book.
Viewers were shown a photo of a young Ed with his mum. In the picture, he could be seen eating a choc ice. His mum, he said, looked "very glamorous".

Staying with the topic of Mr Balls' childhood food habits, he told Lorraine he had his first ever "roast beef and Yorkshire puddings" aged just three weeks old. Lorraine was clearly taken aback by what he said.
Ed explained he was a "10 pound baby" and said a health visitor told his mum he needed more than just milk. Lorraine replied: "Oh, so you were a big lad."
She then asked how he could have eaten the meal at such a young age. Ed replied: "They went and bought a Mulli and kind of pulped it. At three weeks I had roast beef and Yorkshire puddings and it's been a struggle ever since."
Lorraine said: "I can just imagine your face as a wee baby like 'wow this is fantastic'".
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV and the ITV Hub
