Lorraine Kelly has chipped in over Adele's postponed Las Vegas residency following her performance at The BRITs.
The presenter was discussing Adele on her show on Wednesday after the star won three out the four main prizes at the BRIT Awards on Tuesday, where she also put in a performance of her track I Drink Wine.
A clip of the 33-year-old, wearing a glitzy gold gown and performing at the star-studded event, was shown on Wednesday's Lorraine as the presenter, 62, discussed the awards with showbiz correspondent Ria Hebden and fashion guru Mark Hayes.
"Adele, the queen of everything," Lorraine said.
"Absolutely. Rightly deserved," Ria pointed out.
"It was quite remarkable wasn't it," Lorraine added.
"Yeah. She did ever so well," Ria said. "She won Best Album, Best Artist, Best Song of the Year for Easy On Me and she looked absolutely incredible. I loved her performance of I Drink Wine. It's not a song that is one of my favourites on the album but I thought it was absolutely fabulous."
Referencing a clip of her performing, Ria added: "Look at that, looking very much a Hollywood glamour puss, doesn't she?"
“Unbelievable. See she should have done that in Vegas," Lorraine said. "Just turn up like that wearing that dress, that wee fellow on the piano, nice sparklies behind you. Happy days. And she looked comfortable and at ease and it was all lovely."
It comes after Adele announced she had to reschedule the start of her Las Vegas residency because of Covid-19.
“We've been up against so much and it just ain't ready. I'm so sorry,” the star said on social media.
“We've tried absolutely everything that we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you.
“But we've been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid.
“Half my team, half my crew are hit by Covid. They still are and it's been impossible to finish the show.
“I'm gutted. I'm gutted and I'm sorry it's so last minute.”
