Lorraine Kelly had to be sent home from her own TV show for the first time ever this morning (February 21) after "suddenly being attacked" by an unknown illness. According to the MEN, she had gotten all the way to the ITV studios before being sent back.
Good Morning Britain hosts Ed Balls and Kate Garraway shared the news on the latest edition of the new programme after she failed to show up for their usual mid-show crossover. As they chatted about Lorraine, Kate joked it was a "good job" Ranvir got herself out of bed or there may not have been a show.
They confirmed that is what they believe to be a first for the Scottish host and that she was forced off her own programme after "suddenly being attacked" by an unknown illness. Fellow ITV presenter Ranvir Singh was sent to replace her.
