Lorraine Kelly says she would go on SAS: Who Dares Wins - but with one condition

Lorraine Kelly has admitted SAS: Who Dares Wins would be the only reality show she'd consider doing - but has one small catch.

SAS: Who Dares Wins is gearing up for a new season as 20 contestants head to the Vietnamese jungle to take on the toughest challenge on TV. The Channel 4 reality show will see Billy Billingham step up as Chief Instructor following Remi Adeleke's departure.

Discussing the show as she appeared on Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, 63, chatted away to hosts Ranvir Singh and Adil Ray about the likelihood of her taking part in the celebrity version. The Scots presenter previously told the Daily Star in 2018 she'd love to try her hands at the gruelling reality show as she isn't keen on the idea of I'm A Celebrity or Strictly Come Dancing.

She told the publication: “The only show I’d ever consider doing is the one where you’re in the SAS. I’d rather do challenges like falling off a cliff backwards than eat a kangaroo’s arse, frankly.”

Hinting at Lorraine's past comments, Ranvir asked her on GMB: "Would you want to do SAS: Who Dares Wins?" Lorraine responded: "I said if I was forced at gun point, if they were going to kidnap my dogs," as Ranvir quips: "They might do!"

"But if I was forced to do it, that would be the only reality show I would do. I wouldn't be very good but I would give it my all," she concluded.

Ranvir asks Lorraine if producers have been in touch to offer her a position on the show but the Scots presenter said they hadn't. Adil chimed in: "I think they might now".

"I don't think they will, I think they'll be like 'Nah'," said Lorraine. Ranvir encouraged Lorraine, replying: "No you'd be amazing on it".

"It would be an incredible experience but I'd like to do it without being filmed but that defeats the purpose," Lorraine said.

This comes after Lorraine was forced to deny rumours she would be joining last years Strictly Come Dancing line-up.

Quashing the rumour mill, she said there’s "more chance" of her appearing on Love Island. Following her Strictly denial, the broadcaster was also forced to deny speculation she would be heading to Australia for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.

Taking to Twitter, she retweeted an article and said: "FFS - again another terrific show to watch but there’s no way on God’s green earth I’m eating a kangaroos bum hole in front of @antanddec (or indeed anyone - or alone - just no!)."
