Lorraine Kelly has said she thinks Prince Harry will regret not attending a memorial service for Prince Philip at Westminster Abbey on Tuesday.
Many members of the Royal Family were in attendance at the service, including Prince Andrew who helped the Queen to her place.
However, Harry and Meghan did not attend the ceremony.
In recent weeks, the Duke of Sussex has been embroiled in a legal battle with the Home Office over his security arrangements in the UK.
Now Kelly has said it was a “shame” Prince Harry didn’t make the journey and she said she felt he would “regret it”.
Speaking on her show on Wednesday, Kelly said: “I must admit up until the very very last minute I thought, do you know what, Prince Harry will just come over.
“I think he's really going to regret this. He's not going because he says he doesn't feel safe. For goodness sake, they're in Westminster Abbey.
“Can you imagine how many people are there looking after the Queen and everyone else. It just seems a shame.”
The last time the prince was in the UK was in July 2021 to unveil a statue of his late mother Diana alongside Prince William.
Harry’s absence from the service was also discussed on Good Morning Britain.
Susannah Reid asked whether the pair believed they were at a higher risk than the Queen.
“Because presumably that's what they argue - is that they feel more at risk if there are other members of the Royal Family there, including the Head of State,” she said.
