Lorraine Kelly has said she thinks Johnny Depp's latest court testimony is 'painful to watch' and 'very very sad'.
Lorraine was talking on her show this morning about Pirates of The Caribbean star Johnny's personal account to the US court of his relationship with ex wife Amber Heard,
Johnny is currently embroiled in a $50 million defamation trial against Amber over an opinion piece she wrote for the Washington Post where she called herself a victim of domestic violence.
He denies any abuse and has hit back with a $100m counterclaim against Mr Depp.
Johnny has given his personal account to the claims and said: "I never struck Ms Heard in that way, nor have I struck any woman in my life."
He added that "her accusations sort of permeated the industry" and said: ""It's been six years of trying times - so strange when one day you're Cinderella, so to speak, and then in 0.6 seconds, you're Quasimodo."
Johnny maintains Ambers claims are "not based in any species of the truth".
He also told of his abuse from his mother growing up in Kentucky saying: "I could see when she [his mother] was about to head into a situation where she was going to get riled up and someone was going to get it. And generally it was me."
Johnny also claimed that Amber challenged him about removing his own boots without her assistance.
He'd said: "I worked quite a lot and when I came home from work I’d come in the house and she’d sit me down and give me a glass of wine and take my boots off and set them to the side.
'I’ve never experienced anything like that in my life. I never experienced that and it became a regular thing, kind of routine.
"One night I came home and she was on the phone, I took my boots off, suddenly Miss Heard approached with this look on her face, she just said what did you just do? What did you do?'"
When he asked what she meant, he claims she responded: "You took your boots off."
He said: "Yes I did. You were busy."
Amber is alleged to have told him: "No, no, no that’s my job. You don’t do that, I do that. Let me get you a glass of wine."
He said: "I did take pause of course, the fact she was visibly shaken or upset that I had broken her rules of routine.
"Once you notice something like that you start to notice other tidbits that come out.
"Then within a year a year and a half she had become another person, almost."
Following his account, Lorraine talked to Ross King about the case.
Referring to the boots she added: :That is very strange behaviour. I know it's he said, she said and I don't think either of them are going to come out of this well."
She added: "Gosh that is actually painful to watch. Very very sad - so interesting to see her as well, looking at him very stonily."
