Lorraine Kelly's touching show of support to Deborah James during Celebrity Gogglebox segment

Lorraine Kelly's daughter Rosie showed a touching show of support for Deborah James on Friday night's edition of Celebrity Gogglebox.

Her 62-year-old mother has often featured Deborah's tragic tales of battling bowel cancer on her ITV daytime show, in a bid to raise awareness of the disease by sharing signs and symptoms.

And in a lovely display of friendship, last night Rosie sported one of the Bowel Babe's 'Rebellious Hope' t-shirts while appearing on the Channel 4 programme with her mother.

The Mirror reports that t-shirt sales have managed to raise over £1million for the BowelBabe fund which she established after her devastating 2016 diagnosis.

Yesterday, Rosie shared a preview of Gogglebox on her Instagram adding: "Can you guess what we’re watching on @c4gogglebox. Luckily Ruby was fast asleep for this one - you can watch tonight at 9 pm on @channel4."

Deborah has exhausted herself with work to raise awareness for bowel cancer since being diagnosed, and is currently receiving end of life care at her parents' home. The mother-of-two recently shared how much the campaign with fashion brand In The Style meant to her as for her the message of 'Rebellious Hope' 'keeps her going'.

She said: "Rebellious Hope’ is what has got me through the last few years and it’s what is keeping me going now! Seeing all your messages, tags and support has just been the best and I am so grateful that we have been able to do this together!"

Sharing her latest update to Instagram Deborah was pictured sipping a refreshing drink with Heather, 64.

Her mum, known as Bowelgran, posted a snap to Instagram with the caption: "A lovely relaxing lunch in the sunshine."

Deborah, a former deputy headteacher, has kept her Instagram followers, who number more than 900,000, up to date with her treatments and end of life care.

Last month, she was also honoured with a Damehood by the Duke of Cambridge at her home for her “tireless campaigning” efforts.

*Deborah's T-shirt can be ordered via In the Style and is available in sizes 6-28.
