Lorraine Kelly opens up on Holly and Phil's future on ITV amid 'feud'

It's been a tough week for This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield due to their apparent feud hitting the headlines - and it's only Tuesday!

However, fellow ITV star Lorraine Kelly reckons that all will be well between the presenting duo.

Lorraine, whose self-titled show is on just before This Morning each weekday, believes that the pair aren't going anywhere and will continue to present the programme together and have the full support of their ITV colleagues.

Sources have claimed that the co-hosts aren't as pally as they have been in the past, which has put a strain on their relationship.

Many ITV viewers have picked up on the 'tension' between them as they continue to present the daytime show.

But Lorraine says that, as they returned on Monday and didn't mention the so-called feud, it's unlikely they will quit. She told The Sun: "Do you know what they were back today and it was business as usual and everyone is just getting on with it."

She then said that it was "unlikely" that any of them would leave the popular show.

She added: "I would be sad if they left the show but I don’t think that is ever likely to happen and I think they're just getting on with it."

Holly is said to be pushing for a brand new contract when hers comes to an end this September. It's also reported that the mum-of-three is keen for show bosses to know that she is happy to front the show alone.

In a statement, Phil revealed that things had not been "not been easy" for him and Holly, 42, which is said to have really upset Holly as she knew nothing about the public statement.
