Lorraine Kelly 'looks great' as she celebrates milestone weight loss

Lorraine Kelly has shared a milestone moment in her weight loss journey.

Posting to her Instagram account, Lorraine shared how she had successfully shed two stone with her 481,000 followers. It comes after the talk show presenter said she wanted to make changes to her life in order to get her 'sparkle' back after gaining weight in lockdown.

Since the coronavirus pandemic began, the Scottish TV host had gone up two dress sizes, going from a size 10 to a 14, and was feeling desperate to get back to her former self. Because of this, the 62-year-old signed up to be an ambassador for WW ( Weight Watchers.)

Her Weight Watchers coach, Suzy Stirling, captioned it: "Woweee! In just SIX weeks @lorrainekellysmith has not only gone and got her STONE AWARD but she’s gone above and beyond it losing a whopping FIFTEEN pounds! AMAZING!!! Well done Lorraine… How do you feel?"

Lorraine replied: "Feeing great! Over a stone. Thanks @wwsuzystirfry And @ww.uk"

Fans were quick to compliment the TV personality on her achievements as they swarmed the comments with positivity.

Janette said: "Well done Lorraine, you look, fabulous."

Yvie said: "You can see it ! Lorraine honestly you look so good xx"

Julie said: "Well done Lorraine. You can see the change already and you look very healthy."

Before starting the changes to her diet, Lorraine said that she noticed the weight gain while getting ready for the ITV Palooza. She said that she tried on one of her glamorous size 10 red satin gowns, in which she shone at the NTAs in 2016. Lorraine was horrified when it no longer fit, as she said: “I couldn’t get it over my hips.”

Instead, she opted for a size 14 black dress and said: “I looked ok, but I didn’t feel ok. I didn’t feel my best.”
