Lorraine Kelly gave viewers an update on her condition following surgery.
The presenter returned to her morning slot today following the New Year break but revealed she had a relatively "quiet one." Lorraine ditched the prosecco and party hats for physio and a cast as she revealed she spent the occasion recovering from keyhole surgery.
Lorraine's operation saw the removal of bone and calcification but she failed to go into specific detail on what the cause or problems were.

She said: "I had a wee operation on my shoulder, it's been annoying me for ages." An image of Lorraine appeared on the screen of her arm wrapped in a sling and cast as she added: "There I am!
"Thank you to the professor and his brilliant team because oh my goodness, keyhole surgery is incredible. I've just had to remove some calcification and a little bit of bone.
"I'm doing my physio but I had a really quiet Christmas and New Year." Lorraine said her daughter, Rosie, and husband, Steve, were looking after her and took over the Christmas meal preparations.
