Lorraine Kelly gets Britain's Got Talent warning over emotionally charged episode

Lorraine Kelly received a warning on Friday about a very emotional Britain's Got Talent episode this weekend.

The new series of the hit ITV show is now three in, having made its long awaited return over Easter weekend, after nearly two years away. The Golden Buzzers have been coming thick and fast so far, but not without controversy.

There was uproar as credits rolled on episode one, when Amanda Holden hit the Golden Buzzer for Loren Allred, the woman famous for being the voice of Greatest Showman track Never Enough. A day later there was similar anger when Simon Cowell sent c omedian Axel Blake straight through to the semis, with viewers finding out he'd already had his own TV show.

The third Golden Buzzer of Britain's Got Talent this year came from David Walliams, as he pressed the button for dance act Born to Perform. And, while none were awarded last week, there is serious Golden Buzzer potential this week, in the shape of The Frontline Singers - a choir made up of frontline workers.

Lorraine was joined by her resident TV correspondent Rhia Hebden on Friday morning to share a clip of their audition, which sees them perform an original track all about their experiences and strength during the Covid pandemic. Prior to it airing, Rhia told Lorraine: "Grab your tissues Lorraine, it's a tearjerker!"

In the clip, BGT judges Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon can be seen looking very moved as they listen to the song's poignant lyrics and, as the camera cut back to Lorraine in the studio, she remarked: "That's actually a really good song!" Both Alesha and hosts Ant and Dec are still to choose their Golden Buzzer acts and Ant and Dec have a reputation to live up to as their 2020 pick, Jon Courtenay, went onto win the show.
