Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby have the full support of their ITV colleagues, according to presenter Lorraine Kelly.
The Scottish star who presents her self-titled show ahead of This Morning airing has revealed she believes that the pair will keep their jobs on the programme.
In recent days, Phillip and Holly's friendship appears to have been strained, with sources claiming they're not as close as they once were.
Despite previously being the best of friends, they are reportedly no longer speaking to one another with viewers of the show instantly picking up on this as they returned to work after the weekend.
"Do you know what they were back today and it was business as usual and everyone is just getting on with it," she told The Sun, before adding that it was "unlikely" that they would leave.
She said: "I would be sad if they left the show but I don’t think that is ever likely to happen and I think they're just getting on with it."
Holly is reportedly pushing bosses at the network for a new contract when hers ends in September and is keen for bosses to know she will front the show alone if need be.
Phillip, 61, recently explained things had "not been easy" for him and Holly, 42, leaving his former best friend "blindsided" by his unexpected public statement.
The Mirror revealed that ITV bosses would be prepared to SACK Schofield from his role on the shows he and Holly co-present should viewers notice their "chemistry" had changed.
They were the closest of friends for several years after becoming work pals but it's since emerged that Holly and Phillip have cancelled family trips together.
Now, it's reported that their friendship is completely over with Holly cutting all ties with Phillip but despite their alleged feud, they are putting on appearances while working together.
Phillip is believed to be prepared to fight to keep his job on the show after it emerged ITV's top dogs were planning "D-day" talks about his future.
His and Holly's contract comes to an end in September and their future remains uncertain if they're unable to convince viewers that they remain pals.
