Lorraine Kelly has revealed she will be absent from her self-titled chat show after she tested positive for coronavirus.
The Scottish presenter fronts the topical show on weekday mornings on ITV. However, she will temporarily sit out from the programme while she recovers from her illness.
She took to Twitter to issue the health update and thanked former Countdown presenter Carol Vorderman for stepping in. She said: "Well the Covid has finally got me and I tested positive at the weekend.

"Thanks to the vaccine it’s not too bad and I hope to be back at work very soon. Huge thanks to @carolvorders who will be hosting @lorraine until I’m back."
Fans flooded the comments to wish Lorraine a speedy recovery.
