Lorraine viewers were taken aback on Monday when the presenter interviewed former MP Neil Parish, who resigned from his position after being caught watching pornography in the House of Commons.
The 65-year-old was suspended from the Tory whip in April following days of speculation over his identity. At the time, when asked about the then-unnamed MP in a TV interview Mr Parish said the whips would do "a thorough investigation".
He was later named and after being an MP for 12 years, Mr Parish, who also chaired the Environment Committee, resigned in May of this year.

Lorraine Kelly introduced him to her morning show, before jumping in with: "What were you thinking?". Mr Parish explained the incident as a "moment of madness" and later said it was because he was "bored".
He also thanked his wife for supporting him, adding that she "knows what [he's] like". He said: "My wife chases me around the kitchen with scissors saying 'snipper snap'. And we all know what bit of my anatomy she's talking about."
Many viewers at home were startled by his words. Taking to Twitter, Becca said: "Did I honestly just hear him say that?"
Am-Yes said: "Neil Parish trying to excuse himself for watching porn at work is next level Tory entitlement behaviour". Tracey said: "Car crash TV, apparently his wife knows what he's like. Oh dear lord".
Lynsey Shevlin said: "This former MP is really making my morning. It’s like watching an episode of The Thick of It". Jessica said: "Snipper snap? I'm eating my breakfast ffs" [sic].
