Lord Malayappa Swamy showers boons on the devotees from the Kalpavriksha

TIRUPATI: Lord Malayappa Swamy showered boons on the devotees from the golden Kalpavriksha vahanam on the fourth day morning of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams at Tirumala on Thursday.

Tastefully decorated with antique ornaments and garlands, Lord Malayappa Swamy flanked by his divine consorts bestowed their divine grace on the devotees, as the Kalpavriksha vahanam inched through the four mada streets.

According to Srimad Bhagavatam, devotees who take shelter under the Kalpavriksha, will not go through starvation and poverty.

Later in the evening, Lord Venkateswara blessed the devotees in the Sarvabhoopala vahanam.

Meanwhile, the hill town is reeling under the impact of very low pilgrim footfall during the first four days of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams.
