Loose Women viewers all have the same complaint as stars take part in Halloween special

Loose Women viewers all had the same complaint - as the show aired a Halloween special today.

The special edition of the ITV lunchtime show was broadcasted from a psychedelic alternate universe, as the panellists led the way with a Loose Women in Wonderland extravaganza to mark the spooky holiday. They transformed into characters from the popular book, with a few surprises along the way as some different characters appeared.

The show opened with a video segment which saw Judi Love running late for the programme as she arrived to an empty studio. There was a cushion placed on the desk with a drink which had the label 'drink me' on it.

Confused but intrigued, she quickly downed the liquid and was transported to a special new Wonderland, now dressed in a blue pinafore and with flowing blonde hair as she surveyed the scene around her.

Kaye Adams soon appeared as The Mad Hatter, complete with a wart on her face, whilst Frankie Bridge came bounding in dressed as the White Rabbit, complaining how late she was. Elsewhere, Nadia starred as The Queen of Hearts with Keith Lemon and Linda Robson making some guest appearances dressed as the Cheshire Cat and Humpty Dumpty respectively.

Viewers tuning into the show rushed to social media as they complained about the ITV programme, with many saying they found it difficult to take the stars seriously as they discussed news topics like Prince Harry's memoir whilst dressed in the get up.

"You can’t now have a serious conversation in this get up Nadia #loosewomen," one wrote, as another added: "What in hell's name has this got to do with Halloween? ( apart from the panel looking like Witches ) #loosewomen."

Others were confused why their Halloween special was today and not Monday, October 31.

"Why aren't they doing a Halloween special Monday, when it is actually Halloween? #LooseWomen," one shared.

However, there was high praises for host Kaye, who took her crazy costume in her stride. One fan wrote: "I don't know the reason but Kaye Adams has relaxed so much over the past couple of years and I love it. She shows us such a fun, cheeky side to her personality now. She always seemed a little uptight on air before but she is so much fun these days #loosewomen."
