Linda Robson looked every inch the doting grandmother as she stepped out with her daughter Lauren and granddaughters Betsy and Lila in London for Disney’s hottest new toy launch.
The Loose Women star, 66, and her family joined in the fun at the Disney Store in Oxford Street where attendees had to follow a special trail to earn an array of goodies, including light-up scented Munchlings and Doorables Adoorbs dolls by Just Play which aren’t officially released until next month.
Along the way, they could take part in arts and crafts activities such as colouring in and making their own special water bottle charm.
To give them an extra sugar boost, they could also help themselves to cupcakes inspired by classic Disney characters including Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Stitch.
There were also plenty of photo opportunities to pose with giant cutouts of the colourful Doorables Adoorbs dolls.
Robson has been joined by her grandchildren at a number of events in recent years, including the Care Bears Forever Exhibition at the gallery@oxo on London's Southbank earlier month.
It seems she is trying to make up for lost time after admitting in March that she had once been “banned” from seeing her younger relatives during a period when struggling with mental health and alcohol abuse.
Appearing on ITV’s Lorraine, she explained: “Four years ago I had really bad mental health problems and depression and was on suicide watch for a while as well.
“I started drinking anything and everything just to get through the day. And I still feel a lot of guilt for what I put my children and my grandchildren through.”
Admitting that she “wasn’t allowed to see her grandchildren for a while”, which devastated her, the Birds of a Feather favourite continued: “I love my grandchildren more than my children, so that was really hard,’ she added. ‘But here we are four years later and I haven’t drunk for four years.”
She has spoken openly about her experiences in the past, explaining that her mental health illnesses began in 2008 following the death of her son Louis, who was killed during a night out with a friend.
Robson wasn’t the only celebrity in attendance at the event as former Strictly Come Dancing judge and I’m A Celebrity camp mate Dame Arlene Phillips was there with granddaughter Enne dressed as fairy Tinkerbell.
Another Strictly alum adding some star power was professional dancer Ola Jordan and daughter Ella.
The Traitors’ Maddy Smedley attended with her partner Tom Greenwood and their young daughter Shelby Rae.
Plus, former Miss Wales and Big Brother star Imogen Thomas arrived with her daughters Ariana and Siera in-tow, who dressed the part for the location in matching pink Minnie Mouse ears.
