Loose Women star gives health update as viewer spotted worrying symptom on air

Loose Women panelist Jane Moore has addressed health concerns after several viewers spotted a 'concerning' symptom live on air.

On today's ITV show Jane was joined by her colleagues Judi Love, Charlene White and Kelly Holmes where they discussed everything from crying babies, the work of the police and interviewed Andi Oliver and her daughter Miquita Oliver.

However, the Loose ladies briefly spoke about Jane's eye as some viewers had noticed it was looking a bit red and contacted show bosses quickly to express their concerns for the journalist, writes The Mirror.

Charlene said: "We've had a lot of messages about your eye Jane?"

Jane then replied: "It's so nice that everyone looks out for you on this show. I came in this morning, and I didn't even notice anything was wrong with my eye, and one of the ladies in make-up and I looked, and I look like something out of a horror film.

"It doesn't hurt. I have no idea what it was, someone said it might be a burst blood vessel but I don't know how I've done it."

Jane's red eye comes after Carol McGiffin opened up about her own painful health diagnosis which left her, literally, red faced.

A few weeks ago, Carol revealed she had woken up that morning with a very red face and didn't know exactly what had caused it but explained it was very itchy.

Carol didn't want to pull out of presenting the show but did it without make-up on. She said: "It looks like I've had a cosmetic procedure of something but I haven't. I woke up with a seriously red face, itchy, so I've got no make-up on."

Carol then added: "It's not pleasant and I'm fine not to have any makeup on."

Her co-star Kaye Adams then replied: "Joking aside it's a horrible thing and we're really glad you're here. We'd rather you here then not here. Hopefully the wee tablets will work and you'll be fine and dandy."
