Loose Women star Denise Welch has reportedly turned down big-money offers to appear on Celebrity MasterChef. The BBC show's producers are said to be desperate for her to take part - but so far they have failed to convince her.
The 64-year-old told the Daily Star: "I've been asked to do Celebrity MasterChef. They keep coming back and I keep saying 'not in a million years'. I've said no 84 times."
Denise doesn't want to do the hit cookery show as she thinks she is useless in the kitchen. She said: "I can't think of anything more terrifying than me doing a cooking show.

"It's terrifying to do something that's out of your comfort zone. And the whole kitchen area is out of my comfort zone."
Despite turning down the culinary competition, it sounds like Denise could be convinced to do the celebrity version of Bake Off. She said: "Bake Off is such a lovely show.
"It's something the whole family can watch, which is so rare these days. My Loose Women co-stars Judi Love and Coleen Nolan have done it and they both absolutely loved it."
Referring to the Bake Off judge, Denise added: "And Paul Hollywood has lovely twinkly eyes." Denise recently announced on Loose Women she is to become a grandmother.
