Loose Women's Linda Robson has called out teenagers having lip fillers as "absolutely ridiculous". Speaking on Tuesday's edition of the ITV chat show, she said she hated them.
The panel discussed the topic as they were asked whether celebrities should go public about their cosmetic procedures. Presenter Anne Robinson said recently that she wished she had let herself age naturally, rather than having a facelift when she hosted The Weakest Link.
She said she regretted not being honest about it at the time and added that she was bullied about her looks. Panellist Coleen Nolan backed the idea of going public, as she said she said it was "obvious" when work has been done and there should be no shame on the matter, reports the LiverpoolECHO.
Linda revealed she was recently offered botox by her lash technician, but turned it down to prevent her daughters from possibly doing the same. She went on to say she hates lip fillers, with fellow panellist Jane Moore clarifying "there's a big difference between fillers and botox," prompting Linda to explain her disinterest further.
She said: "I think they're absolutely dreadful. I really do. You see young girls, 16 or 17, having their lips done and it looks absolutely ridiculous. It really does."
Linda brought the conversation back to face lifts as she complimented co-star Carol McGiffin's procedure. Janet Street-Porter chimed in declaring that young girls who opt for cosmetic procedures remain looking the same "with the same big lips and caterpillars over their eyes".
