Loose Women's Linda Robson leaves panel gobsmacked with knicker drawer revelation

Linda Robson surprised her Loose Women co-stars when she revealed what she keeps in her knicker drawer. The Birds of a Feather actress was on the ITV panel show on Friday with Kaye Adams, Denise Welch and Nadia Sawalha.

The foursome were posing the exact question: "What do you keep in your knicker drawer?" and it turns out it isn't just underwear. While Nadia, 57, kicked off by saying she puts everything she "wants to hide" in hers, Denise, 63, said: "I've occasionally been known to put little things in my knicker drawer..."

As the panel looked slightly panicked about what she meant as the former Coronation Street and Hollyoaks star soon clarfied: "Toys... ladies toys!" But it was Linda's answer which appeared the most unsuspecting.

The 64-year-old revealed: "I've got lots of people's and animal's ashes in my knicker drawer. So I've got little bags of ashes from George and from Ernie and from other members of the family."

Denise started by laughing before asking Linda: "Seriously?" as a perplexed Nadia added: "Where you keep your ashes is in your knicker drawer?" Linda then confirmed: "Seriously!"

She went on to explain: "They're in little packets and that so everything that's precious to me, I've got the names on there so I don't get the ashes mixed up. And I've also got a little box in there for my children. So you know, the little bracelets when they're born, their hair, their teeth, I've got all of them in there."

When Kaye then asked her: "I mean, that is lovely but why your knicker drawer?" Linda replied: " Because it's my knicker drawer, and it's my drawer and no one goes to that drawer. It's all my little special things in there."

Also on Friday's show Linda introduced her newest member of the family. The TV star announced she’s got a new dog after losing her beloved French Bulldog, Ernie, during lockdown. She revealed that she’s adopted another French Bulldog from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and that she's "settled into the family lovely".

Linda brought her new pup onto the ITV show (ITV)

Linda introduced the five-month-old pup to her co-stars with her waiting backstage before being brought on to join them on the panel by a member of the Loose Women crew. Viewers were also able to get involved after Linda shared how she wasn’t sure what to call her new dog as she said she had been named Nutmeg by Battersea.

After a vote, the name was stelled on Dolly. But the poor pup hasn't had the easiest of time. "She’s had loads of problems, she had ingrowing eyelashes," Linda said. "I’ve got a dog who could have lost her eye but she didn’t lose her eye. She had an operation on her nose and her eye. She’s also been spayed now so she’s had a bit of a rough time."
