Loose Women's Kaye Adams waves goodbye before even starting on Strictly Come Dancing

Kaye Adams waved goodbye before she's even started on Strictly Come Dancing.

The Loose Women panelist has been sharing her journey since joining the line up on the BBC ballroom show. So far she has endured the show's first 'injury' of the year as her hands were red raw from clapping too much, while being busy rehearsing.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a video where she waved goodbye to her old self to make room for a dazzling new version. The 59-year-old said: "Wave bye bye to pasty Kaye everyone..." ahead of the show kicking off on September 17.

She cut the camera and then returned with a glow about her. Kaye added: "Say hello to spray tan Kaye."

In another video, the TV personality said people keep asking her how she feels about donning her dancing shoes. She said so far she had been nervous but she is now "unequivocally so happy" that she agreed to it.

She said: "It has reconnected me with real people." Kaye went on to describe some of the negativity that she puts up with on Twitter, working as a journalist.

The Strictly star added: "This has just transformed my life." Since being announced in the line-up, Kaye has been receiving random acts of kindness from strangers. She explained that while out and about people have been wishing her luck for the upcoming shows.

While it is still unknown who Kaye will be partnering up with in the star-studded competition, she previously told The Mirror that she hoped to dance with a gay man. She said: "I don’t want a heterosexual.

"I would feel embarrassed for them – because a young, hot heterosexual will be like he’s dancing with his mum. But if I got a nice gay guy, he’ll be fine with dancing with his mum."
