Loose Women's Kaye Adams suffers first Strictly Come Dancing injury

Strictly Come Dancing contestant Kaye Adams has suffered her first 'injury' just days into training.

The BBC ballroom show rehearsals are currently underway as the line up of celebrity contestants don their dancing shoes. The Loose Women talk show host took to her Instagram page to upload a snap showing the palm of her hand looking red and sore.

She captioned the image: "First Strictly injury..." She added: "From the over enthusiastic clapping!!!"

Kaye later shared a video showing that she was on day two of rehearsals. To her surprise she had paparazzi waiting for her as she left her hotel.

She said: "Just came out of the hotel and got papped. How exciting. I waved at them which is probably a bit naff.

"I think you're supposed to have sunglasses on and go 'get away from me'. But I'll do that tomorrow morning. And, highlight of today... a spray tan!"

Last month the complete line-up was officially announced with Kym Marsh, Will Mellor and Helen Skelton all set to take part, as well as James Bye and Tony Adams. Joining them are Hamza Yassin, Fleur East, Molly Rainford, Ellie Taylor and Matt Goss. Also on the bill are Tyler West, Ellie Simmonds, Jayde Adams and Richie Anderson.
