There was an awkward moment for Frankie Bridge on Monday's Loose Women when star guest Hayley Mills asked her a confusing question about her career.
Frankie, who shot to fame as a member of S Club Juniors in 2002, before going onto taste further chart success with The Saturdays a few years later, was on the panel of the lunchtime discussion show as it broadcast its first episode of a new week; joining host Charlene White and co-stars Denise Welch and Gloria Hunniford.
Monday's Loose Women saw the panel discuss everything from reports on people sending relatives to luxury care homes abroad to difficult labours and how to let people down gently. And in the final part of the show, the ladies were joined by world famous actress Hayley, star of iconic films like The Parent Trap and Pollyanna.

As well as talking about how it was to star opposite herself in The Parent Trap, playing twins Susan and Sharon, Hayley spoke about some of the pressures of being a childhood star and finding fame at a young age. After listening to what Hayley had to say, Frankie opened up about the concerns she had as a teenager after S Club Juniors, later S Club 8, called it a day, not wondering what was next for her.
She explained: "Most of your friends are just starting to figure out what to do then and I had that real moment of 'what am I going to do for the rest of my life?' when you've still got so much ahead of you."
While S Club Juniors had three number 2 singles in a row and The Saturdays had a series of top 20 hits to their name, clearly neither group landed on Hayley's radar as then asked Frankie: "But you wanted to carry on acting? Or what?"
Clarifying that she was in fact a pop star, Frankie replied: "Ermmm yeah, I was a singer,. so I did carry on, but there was a stage where it was really difficult. I wondered what I was going to do and I wonder if that's where, you know in the past, you've seen child actors and singers go off the rails a bit."
Some Loose Women viewers weren't happy with Frankie drawing parallels between herself and Hayley, with one taking to Twitter to react: "Frankie comparing herself to Hayley Mills," along with a GIF of an unimpressed face, while another tweeted: "No no no no we don't care about frankie... Back to Hayley please #loosewomen f**k sake."
