Denise Welch has issued a defiant response to critics saying she'll "shout as loud" as she wants after her defence of Meghan Markle saw tempers flare on the Loose Women panel on Tuesday and divided viewers at home.
The Duchess of Sussex has been in the headlines again after giving an interview to American publication The Cut, in which she talks about how she and her children have encountered racism, claims she and Harry upset the Royal Family hierarchy just 'by existing and spoke of her fears that staying in the UK may have exposed her son, Archie, three, to excessive media attention.
Just like when Meghan and Harry gave their much-watched interview to Oprah Winfrey early in 2021, the reaction to her new claims has been huge, with it becoming a talking point on a number of British TV shows, including Loose Women.

Denise has often spoke out in support of Meghan and Harry when other ITV colleagues haven't and found herself embroiled in a fraught exchange with her Loose Women colleagues Jane Moore and Gloria Hunniford as she sought to defence her again.
Addressing newspaper journalist Jane, who was anchoring Tuesday's episode, Denise blasted: ""Look at the press every single day, you guys are obsessed with tearing them down! Absolutely obsessed, every single day," before turning on Gloria after the well known TV personality called Meghan out for 'fibbing.'
Denise earned plenty of praise from viewers online for her vocal defence of Meghan and Harry, with many agreeing with her that they'd been unfairly treated. And, some of those who criticised her got a response from Denise herself, with her replying to an accusation she didn't 'let Brenda Edwards speak,' to tweet: "She chose not to.."
Denise then put out a separate tweet after the Loose Women row over Meghan gathered coverage of its own. She posted: "I’ll shout as loud and as much as I want!! I’m passionate about this subject & have had to listen to 48hr of Meghan and Harry bashing and I’m sick of it!!!"
Underneath Denise's tweet, there were plenty of responses, with one fan replying: "Denise was bang on the money today, no wonder she was passionate, MM is being bullied constantly, haven't people learned anything?" A second, talking the same stance, tweeted: "Me too Denise. Just such a weird and horrible attitude towards a young couple who have done NOTHING wrong."
