Denise Welch seemed surprised on Thursday's Loose Women as she discovered her youngest son Louis had a connection to another panellist on the show, as he adds more credits to his acting career.
After letting slip a backstage secret about Paul O'Grady a day earlier, Denise was back on the panel of the ITV programme as it aired in its usual 12.30pm slot. Charlene White was at the head of the panel for the fourth episode of the week, and led a a discussion on how hard it is to raise children in the modern era.
It was when giving her opinion that former Coronation Street and Waterloo Road actress Denise spoke about her worries for son Louis, as he continues to forge a career in the TV and film industry.

Having starred in the likes of Emmerdale and Vera, Louis is currently on screen in the latest series of ITV drama Hotel Portofino but, revealing her concerns for him going forward, she told her colleagues: "Even with my son, Louis, who's 22; obviously he's not a kid, I can't stop him from doing anything. But I get, because he's a young actor and he's doing quite well..."
And it was at that point, that Denise's Loose Women co-star Sunetra Sarker reminded her that she had starred alongside Louis in Channel 4 drama Ackley Bridge, saying: "He's really good! I've worked with him."
After momentarily looking confused, Denise replied: "Oh yeah, I forgot that you had," before addressing her fears over the industry adding: "Nowadays, it's not enough to just get the part on your own merit; you've had to prove you've got so many Instagram followers.
"He's not a massive Instagrammer and it's like 'so he has to do that because of that?' And I get really upset about the fact that the world has changed."
Louis' role in Ackley Bridge saw him star in a hard-hitting consent storyline, taking on the role of teenager Jasper who exposed his friend for sexually assaulting a girl who was pupil at the school where Sunetra's character worked.
As the episode played out, one viewer took to Twitter to post: "The world needs more men like Jasper!!!"
