Coleen Nolan has praised the restaurateur who briefly banned James Corden from his venue.
The star appeared on today's edition of Loose Women [October 18] to discuss the recent reports involving the British actor, after the Gavin and Stacey co-creator was accused of 'yelling like crazy' at staff at a New York City restaurant in a now-viral post on social media from Balthazar chain owner Keith McNally.
Keith, 71, claimed on Instagram that a waiter was "left shaken" after James was upset that the egg white was mixed with the yolk in his wife's omelette during a recent visit to the top New York French brasserie - with the restaurant owner telling his Instagram followers the actor was now banned from his hospitality venues.
Speaking with co-stars Janet Street-Porter, Ruth Langsford and Linda Robson, Coleen praised the Balthazar chain owner for slamming James publicly on social media, amid reports the actor 'apologised profusely' to Keith and the ban is being lifted.
Coleen - who clashed with Linda Robson over Boris Johnson elsewhere on the show - kicked the discussion off declaring: "I'd have given that restaurant owner a medal for banning him."
"I can't stand rude behaviour - I don't care who you are or how famous you are," the star continued on the ITV show. "I have no time for it. I think he [Keith] was really brave as James Corden is a massive star."
"He thought about his staff first and he didn't accept it and I think it's brilliant," Coleen added when speaking with her co-hosts.
Janet continued the discussion by revealing she has dined with Keith previously and found that he "wouldn't suffer fools" so was unsurprised by his explosive Instagram post slamming James.
In the first post shared from Keith on Monday, the restaurant owner claimed The Late Late Show host became frustrated during a recent dining experience at his New York restaurant, claiming the actor shouted to a server: "You can't do your job! You can't do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelette myself!"
After initially banning James from his restaurants following the alleged incidents, Keith took to Instagram today to reveal the actor has called him to apologise for his behaviour and the ban has now been lifted.
"James Corden just called me and apologized profusely. Having f****d up myself more than most people, I strongly believe in second chances," Keith told his Instagram followers in his latest update.
"So if James Corden lets me host his Late Late Show for 9 months, I'll immediately rescind his ban from Balthazar. No, of course not.
"But... anyone magnanimous enough to apologize to a deadbeat layabout like me (and my staff) doesn't deserve to be banned from anyway. Especially Balthazar. So come back to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Corden, Jimmy Corden. All is Forgiven. xx"
