Loose Women's Christine Lampard fires 'controversial' warning at ITV co-star seconds into show

Christine Lampard issued a warning to her Loose Women co-star Linda Robson just seconds into Friday's show, as she was left concerned by the actress' children's reaction to something 'controversial' coming up during the episode.

Former One Show host and Strictly contestant Christine was at the head of the panel as the ITV daytime programme aired its final live broadcast of this week; joined by Birds of a Feather legend Linda, comedian Judi Love and ex Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge.

The show started with a burst of Queen classic Don't Stop Me Now as the Loose Women took their seat in front of a studio audience, to tie in with a guest appearance from West End star Lee Mead, who has just landed a role in the London revival of We Will Rock You

And then Christine was delighted to announce that the panel would also be discussing the second season of Sex and the City spin-off And Just Like That, eluding to the fact that a storyline from the new serie had caused a bit of a stir.

And it was that which prompted Christine, who had already prempeted things with a mention of 'taboo topics' to turn to Linda and say: "There's a particular controversial revelation in the revelation in the trailer for And Just Like That and we're going to be talking about it a little later."

Singling out Linda, she added: "All I'm saying is...Linda, if your kids are watching they might want to switch over for a few minutes." A puzzled Linda replied "Why?" to which Christine responded: "Errrr yeah spoiler alert...it's just one of those moments.

"We;'ll explain all in a bit."

The And Just LIke That trailer sees Charlotte's daughter tell her she's ready to lose her virginity before the clip cuts to a lunch scene where the ladies discover the publication of a new 'MILF List' and are desperate to get on it. And then, right at the very end, Carrie's former love interest Aiden makes a surprise return.
