Carol McGiffin has taken aim at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after the first trailer was dropped for their hugely-anticipated Netflix documentary.
The 62-year-old Loose Women panellist says she has "run out of patience" for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after the short teaser clip was released.
The trailer for the explosive docuseries shows emotional clips of Meghan crying and Harry saying he had to "do everything he could to protect his family."
The minute-long video includes a black and white shot of the Duchess crying in the back of a car, with Harry saying: "No-one sees what is happening behind closed doors."
Taking to Twitter to share her frustrations over the documentary, Carol wrote: "I always gave Meg and H the benefit of the doubt but now I’ve run out of patience.
"They are not nice people."
Fans took to the comments to have their say, with some people agreeing with Carol.
"This is spot on," one person commented. Another said: "Agreed! By the way I’ve always admired you
Other people completely disagreed, with one of Carol's followers writing: "I think all this hating on H and M is judgemental. We don’t know them!"
"If I was Meghan, I wouldn’t want to give up my US life to live here, as a royal- I couldn’t think of anything worse! I honestly don’t blame her- or him," penned another.
Someone else added: "I love the fact everyone has an opinion but don’t actually know them personally. Mind your own business."
Carol's comments come after Piers Morgan branded Meghan and Harry "repulsive hypocrites" as he replied to a tweet from Netflix to share the trailer.
Piers' scathing tweet read: "Imagine bleating about privacy then doing a kiss-and-tell reality series about your private lives?
"Then imagine preaching compassion as you trash your family again?
"Then imagine releasing 1st trailer deliberately to ruin your brother’s big trip to America? Repulsive hypocrites."
Meghan previously revealed how the documentary series will delve into the couple's love story as she said how viewers can expect "the piece of my life I haven't been able to share, that people haven't been able to see – our love story".
The show will feature never-before-seen photos of the couple, who are parents to Archie and Lilbet, as well as snaps from their childhoods.
