Loose Women's Carol McGiffin 'fed up' and boycotts Harry and Meghan documentary

Netflix dropped the latest episodes of Harry & Meghan, and ITV’s Loose Women's Carol McGiffin and Judi Love clashed over their thoughts on the documentary.

The newest episodes of the Harry & Meghan Netflix documentary series came out on Thursday (December 15), and on the ITV panel show the discussion quickly turned to the Netflix series.

Loose Women's Carol and Judi fumed at one another, with Carol admitting she hasn't seen the latest episodes as she is "fed up" of it and is boycotting the series. Carol said: "I'm boycotting it, not actively, but I'm just not really interested. I'm just fed up with these two," reports The Mirror.

"They originally left the UK to preserve their privacy and what they've done is sell it to Netflix. This is what annoys me about it. If they want to tell it, I don't care but don't try and manipulate me into wanting to watch it."

However Judi defended the couple's documentary and said she had "gone part the point of arguing with someone" over the content. Judi said: "If you don't come to the conclusion after watching this that someone is being treated a bit differently, then I just leave it with that," Carol interrupted to add: "You'd have to take their word for everything. You're not questioning it."

"Still people are saying negative things about them," Judi added before Carol shouted: "What do they want? What do they want?"

In the Netflix show, Meghan and Harry made some claims suggesting that Harry was left 'terrified' when his brother started shouting at him. He also accused his father, King Charles, of saying things that "simply weren't true".

Harry said the late Queen "sat there and took it all in", adding: "I went in with the same proposal that we’d already made publicly, but once I got there I was given five options – one being all in, no change, five being all out. I chose option three in the meeting – half in, half out. Have our own jobs but also work in support of the Queen.

"It became very clear very quickly that goal was not up for discussion or debate. It was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me and my father say things that just simply weren’t true. And my grandmother, you know, quietly sit there and take it all in."

He added: "But you have to understand that, from the family’s perspective, especially from hers, there are ways of doing things and her ultimate, sort of, mission, goal/responsibility is the institution."

Prince Harry had also claimed he had discussed his plans to move to New Zealand, South Africa and Canada for months before they announced their decision. He claims a letter he wrote to his father about the Canada move was leaked to the press.

"It became clear that the institution had leaked the fact that we were moving back to Canada," he explained, "And a key piece of that story that made me aware that the contents of the letter between me and my father had been leaked was that we were willing to relinquish our titles. That was a giveaway. I was like ‘Wow, our story, our lives, literally got taken from underneath us.'"
