Loose Women star Brenda Edwards has spoken about the message a clairvoyant told her years ago regarding her late son Jamal Edwards MBE.
The music mogul and founder of SBTV died suddenly in February this year aged 31, from a reported sudden heart attack.
The West End star appeared on Tuesday’s instalment of the daytime chat show, alongside fellow panellists Coleen Nolan, Linda Robson and Carol McGiffin.
The 53-year-old described the experience in years gone by while she was visiting Brighton as the ladies discussed whether they would want to meet their future selves.
Brenda said she had her own crystals read and the predictions were “very on point”.
She told her ITV co-stars: “She wanted to talk to me about what was going on in my life.
“As far as I’m concerned, they were very poignant and very relevant to things that were going on in my life.
“She did predict things that were going on in the future, such as, I didn’t think I was ill, but she did say something.
“She tried to take it back, but that culminated in my cancer. I thought I was fine, but she obviously saw something.”
She then continued, as she explained that the clairvoyant had a premonition about Jamal in the crystals as well.
Brenda said: “This was before I did Loose Women or anything like that, I wasn’t on this panel.
“She said something about Jamal, saying you’ve got a son who is helping other young people and I just said, I want to hear the rest of it.”
Brenda and Jamal's loved ones laid him to rest in March, and the Loose Women star returned to the show in April with the full support of her co-stars.
Brenda Edwards made her return to the ITV show with her first televised interview since the tragic death of her son.
In the moving interview with co-star Coleen Nolan, she thanked the team for being there "at the end of the phone" and in person.
She revealed she "needed" to return to the show and the time was right, as it was a part of Jamal's life just as much as hers.
Brenda told Coleen: "It has been great having the ladies there and that is something which has been a big part of my life, and the kids' lives. I need to return. It's not even want to, I need to return."
She added: "I've missed everyone but I thank you for supporting me, and being there at the end of the phone with me."
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV
