Loose Women panelist takes cheeky swipe at colleague's love life

A Loose Women star took a cheeky swipe at one of her colleagues, and left the audience laughing, as the panel discussed a new relationship trend. Colleen Nolan couldn't help herself as the discussion turned to a new divorce trend, where people draw up a list of gifts they would like after getting divorced similar to a wedding gift register.

The panel agreed the trend was an odd one, and didn't think the concept should take off but were also able to get a couple of jibes in between the co-stars. On the panel were Coleen, Janet, Ruth Langsford and Brenda Edwards, reports the Daily Star.

Coleen nodded at Janet Street-Porter and said: "Imagine how many presents she'd have now." Janet has been married four times.

The audience erupted in laughter, as Brenda was left with her jaw dropped. Janet then replied: "Actually, my first husband and I only had one row and it was over a Mickey Mouse money box.

"It was completely ridiculous and irrational but..."

Ruth then asked: "Who got it?" "I did," Janet laughed.

Janet married her first husband Tim Street-Porter when she was 19 in 1967. The couple divorced in 1975.

Her second husband was Time Out Group founder and publisher Tony Elliot. Two years after separating from Tony, she got married in 1979 to documentary maker Frank Cvitanovich.

The fourth time Janet was a bride was when she married David Sorkin. She has described her fourth marriage as “a big, big mistake” as the wedding took place in Las Vegas at 3.30 in the morning. They divorced two years later in 1999.

Her partner now is Peter Spanton, although the pair have not married.
