Loose Women fans thrilled as Judi Love makes plea to King Charles

Loose Women fans are backing Judi Love for Prime Minister after she made a heartfelt plea to King Charles III.

The panelist joined Charlene White, Nadia Sawalha and Frankie Bridge during this week's last instalment of the popular lunchtime show. As ever, the four talked about the topics of the day, and there was one huge news item that couldn't be avoided.

Charlene told viewers: "Liz Truss told the public on Wednesday that she was a 'fighter, not a quitter' but on Thursday, less than 24 hours later, she did just that. She quit".

Nadia Sawalha then said she felt there should be a general election due to the number of Prime Ministers we have had in such quick succession. She added: "Judi, you tell him, you know him, you've met him for fizzy wine".

A photo of Judi meeting the then Prince was then shown to viewers.

Judi said: "I'll happily slide into his DMs, I'll cook him a little curry or something, girl." She then faced the camera and pleaded: "Call it, just call it." Her comments were met with roaring applause from the audience.

Viewers at home were equally impressed. Taking to Twitter, Andy James Michel said: "GO ON JUDI!". Cara said: "I actually adore Judi Love.", while Anthony said: "Judi for PM maybe??"

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV and the ITV Hub
