Loose Women fans were left “uncomfortable” on Monday evening as Love Island winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu and Davide Sanclimenti appeared in the ITV studio.
Ekin-Su, 27, stunned in a strappy red dress as she sat alongside Italian boyfriend Davide, 27, at the panel for the daytime chat show.
The loved up pair were joined by host Ruth Langsford, Nadia Sawalha, Brenda Edwards and Gloria Hunniford as Ekin-Su admitted their win still “hasn’t sunk in”.
Nadia chipped in to say she thought this year's series was “the best Love Island in years” as her and husband were hooked and even considered cancelling their holiday so they didn’t miss the final fortnight of drama.
Yet the Loose Women studio then turned awkward when she turned to the winning couple and added: “What I loved was, it taught me a lesson because I really judged both of you. When you first came on I didn't like either of you.
“I judged you [Davide] because you were good looking and muscly and a bit full of yourself so I thought, 'I don't like him'. And I ended up liking you both the most. So I love that when I'm proved wrong.”
The pair nodded and the interview carried on, but viewers took to Twitter to label Nadia's comments “rude” and “uncomfortable”.
One posted: “Very uncomfortable when that woman on the panel kept saying she didn’t like Ekin Su like okay you didn’t like her keep it to yourself no need to tell her that more than once.”
Another said: “Why does Nadia think it's OK to keep saying I didn't like you. It's rude and annoying keep that to yourself.”
A third added: "Stfu Nadia no need to tell Ekin you didn’t like her at the start."
In their first live interview since leaving the villa, the couple revealed they are hoping to find a place to live together next month.
Nadia went on to Davide if he forgot he was on camera when in the villa and he said: “It was the best thing to do – to actually forget you’re on Love Island and just live with your feelings and sensation.”
Later in the interview, Ekin-Su was asked about her relationships with the other girls, and she replied: "I liked them all. I love Tasha, Gemma, Indiyah, Danica."
Nadia, still keen to remind Ekin she wasn't her favourite at first replied: "See that's why I didn't like you, I didn't feel like you were a woman's woman."
