Loose Women fans criticised Linda Robson as she confessed she doesn't watch the news.
Some of the ITV show's viewers were left puzzled as the presenter made the admission that she doesn't watch the news or read the newspapers, confessing that she doesn't use social media much because of her anxiety.
The Birds Of A Feather star was joined by fellow presenters Kaye Adams, Nadia Sawalha and Judi Love on the show today, as the four of them discussed the latest news about the terrifying events happening in Ukraine.
However, some fans of the show were puzzled on how Linda could get involved after her admission.
Explaining how she "doesn't read newspapers" and "don't watch the news", Linda also admitted that she didn't know how serious the conflict was until she was briefed by the team during the meeting with her fellow co-stars before going on air.
Kaye said to her fellow panellists: "It's difficult isn't it, because there's a deluge of information. You have to filter through the information - what is reliable, what is not reliable. Do you just say, I can't control this, and I'm not even going to look at it."
"I mean, I don't watch the news and don't read newspapers or anything. So I was sort of a bit oblivious to how serious it was really," Linda added, "It was only when I got into work today and we were all talking in the meeting that I realised how serious it was. And talking to some of our young boys who work on the show, one said he was really anxious."
However, some fans are puzzled on how Linda can sit on a current affairs show if she doesn't watch the news.
"Linda Robson just said she doesn’t watch the news or read the newspapers. She gets paid to be on a talk show about current affairs," one frustrated fan wrote after Linda's admission.
Another added: "Linda who doesn’t watch the news works on #LooseWomen … ok then."
"Linda doesn't watch the news, but is on a panel that discusses global issues on a daily basis," a third shared, as a fourth took to Twitter and penned: "Surprise surprise Linda doesn’t watch or read the news."
