The Arizona Cardinals lent a helping hand to the Los Angeles Rams last week when they desperately needed it. With L.A. being devastated by wildfires, the NFL moved Rams-Vikings to Glendale and the Cardinals organization was there to help every step of the way.
Owner Michael Bidwill sent two of the team’s planes to Los Angeles to pick up members of the Rams and their families, bringing them to Arizona where they were set up in hotels until Monday’s game. The Cardinals also opened up their practice facility for the Rams and had State Farm Stadium ready for a playoff game on short notice, which is no small task.
The Rams thanked the Cardinals on Friday with a kind gesture, taking out a full-page ad in the Arizona Republic to share the following message.
In times of adversity, true integrity is shown. Arizona, you were there for us when we needed it most.
We are grateful to the Bidwill Family, the entire Arizona Cardinals staff, and the local community who took us in without hesitation and with gracious hospitality.
From all of us at the Los Angeles Rams,
Thank you
And here’s a look at the message, which features an awesome photo from Monday’s game at State Farm Stadium.

They might be division rivals, but it was great to see the Cardinals help out the Rams during unprecedented times.
