Look: Rams OLBs warm up shirtless in freezing cold weather before game vs. Jets

Most people see temperatures hovering around 20 degrees and grab every jacket, hat and scarf they can find. Not the Los Angeles Rams’ edge rushers, though.

Ahead of today’s game against the New York Jets, the Rams’ outside linebackers were warming up shirtless on the field at MetLife Stadium. The guy who started the trend was none other than Michael Hoecht, who grew up in Canada and is used to frigid conditions.

He was rocking the no-shirt look before the rest of the Rams’ pass rushers followed his lead, joining in on the “fun” – if you want to call it that.

The current temperature at MetLife Stadium is around 20 degrees, well below freezing. It’s even colder when you factor in the wind, making it feel like 6 degrees because of the 13 mph breeze.

The Rams better hope this doesn’t go as poorly as it did for Tennessee on Saturday night after some of the Volunteer players warmed up shirtless before getting trounced by the Ohio State Buckeyes, 42-17.
