There’s nothing like playing a postseason game in front of a raucous crowd at your home stadium, but the Los Angeles Rams are being forced to adapt after Monday’s matchup with the Minnesota Vikings was moved from Inglewood to Arizona.
While it won’t feel like SoFi Stadium on Monday night, the Rams are trying to make State Farm Stadium feel like home. They shipped 200 gallons of paint in their colors to Glendale so that they could have their logos painted on the field.
It was a smart decision by the Rams and a credit to the NFL and Cardinals for making this happen in a difficult situation.
This truck arrived at State Farm Stadium this morning after a 1,500-mile trek from Leland, MS
It brought 200 gallons worth of paint – mostly Blue (Pantone2736) & Yellow (Pantone 109) – to paint the field in Rams colors. pic.twitter.com/oz9tJq0tfD

Ahead of their playoff game against the Cardinals, the Rams’ logos have been painted on the grass field. It’ll be the LA mark at midfield and blue end zones with Los Angeles on one side and Rams on the other.

In addition to painting the field, the Rams are going the extra mile to make State Farm Stadium feel like a home game.
Rams president Kevin Demoff said on Twitter that NFC West champion rally towels will be handed out at the entry gates for fans.
The Rams are also working to put their own graphics on the video boards.

Our staff is on the ground in AZ and working on installing as many graphics as we can to make it a home game type feel. Not all segments translate from infinity screen but we are doing the best we can to make it #ramshouse https://t.co/Ln3EmuQSme

It’s not SoFi Stadium, but the Rams are doing everything they can to make Glendale feel like home.
