Look: Rams have 40 buses taking fans from SoFi Stadium to Arizona for playoff game

Fans showed up to SoFi Stadium before sunrise this morning even though the Rams and Vikings don’t play until 5 p.m. PT tonight – and despite the game being played in Arizona. They started lining up before 5:30 a.m. local time because the Rams dished out a huge assist for their fans who wanted to make the trip to Glendale for this wild-card matchup.

Los Angeles ordered 40 buses to take fans from SoFi Stadium to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, a nearly 6-hour trip spanning about 375 miles. Despite the long trek, fans were pumped to make the trip for tonight’s game.

Take a look at the incredibly long line from photos and videos on social media below. After originally planning to have 15 buses for 750 fans, the Rams upped their charters to get more fans to Glendale.

In addition to providing transportation to and from the game, the Rams also gave fans on the buses some gifts for the game.

Kevin Demoff and the entire organization has done a great job setting all of this up and it should make for a great environment in Arizona.

When tickets went on sale for the game, Rams fans scooped them up in a hurry. About 52,000 tickets were bought in the two-hour presale window reserved for season ticket members, which is a huge number considering the seating capacity of State Farm Stadium is around 63,000.

State Farm Stadium won’t feel like SoFi, but the Rams are pulling out all the stops to make it as close to a home-field advantage as possible.
