LaMelo Ball made a huge commitment earlier this week. No, he didn’t sign a scholarship with a Division I college; he got an enormous tattoo across his chest.
Here’s a picture of Ball’s big tattoo courtesy of the artist that did it, Herchell L. Carrasco (@rockrollg):
TMZ had more details on how long the artwork to do as well as Ball’s plans to fill out his chest:
Tattoo artist Herchell Carrasco tells us the youngest Ball brother wanted wings and his jersey number on his chest … and says the whole piece took about 4 hours to complete.
We’re told there’s still about an hour of work left to be done … but seems Melo is stoked with the art — ’cause he made sure it was poking through his tank during his workout Thursday!!
The “1” across Ball’s chest goes with the numbers that were assigned, for lack of a better term, to him and his brothers. Lonzo is two and LiAngelo is three, for some reason.
It’s a big piece, but one that he’s clearly proud of. Let’s see if he follows in his brothers footsteps and gets his arms done as well.
