Jalen Ramsey came up with one of the best plays of the Rams’ 2021 season in Week 18 against the 49ers. It ultimately wasn’t a play that helped the Rams win, falling to San Francisco in overtime, but his interception midway through the fourth quarter prevented the 49ers from scoring and was replayed on highlight reels everywhere.
Ramsey actually had that play commemorated in the form of a painting done by Nick Iby, an artist based in Austin, Texas. Iby shared the final result, which includes the play design, a shot of Ramsey laying out to haul in the pick and the play-by-play call from Joe Buck.
It also has a modified version of the Rams’ logo, combining the LA mark with the ram head.
On his Instagram story, Ramsey called this the favorite play of his career, as it should be.
You probably remember the play like it was yesterday, but here it is from a couple of angles, as called by Buck on FOX.
