Look inside LA-style mansion on the market for £2.75m

A mansion with a long list of luxury touches has gone on the market in an affluent Merseyside suburb for a whopping £2.75m.

Known as VILLA d'ESTE, the lavish property on Kirklake Road in Formby is newly built and is arranged in a U shape around a central courtyard with a heated swimming pool.

The one storey property spans more than 3,400 sq ft and boasts four bedrooms.

The interior is opulent, with neutral tones such as beige and cream offset with hints of metal and modern lighting.

The main living area is one massive space comprising the kitchen, ample dining space and a huge lounge. The owners have added an element of separation with a statement media wall at the heart of the room.

Elsewhere there is a home cinema, a utility room and a WC, which all leads on to the gym.

All of the bedrooms are en-suite and have walk-in wardrobes. They're also all arranged with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pool area.

The breathtaking main bedroom has a dedicated dressing area and a lavish en-suite overlooking the grounds. The opulent suite includes a standalone tub and a walk-in shower, and is tiled floor to ceiling with a marble-style design.

The mansion is on the market with property specialists Savills, who called it "outstanding" and said it has "been built to an exacting standard of construction and design".

The listing added: "It is a beautifully presented property incorporating high quality fixtures and fittings and an impressive symmetry."

The location of Kirklake Road is also second to none, running from Formby Train Station through to the National Trust woodland and beach.

Formby is one of the most sought after areas in Merseyside and has been home to footballing royalty such as Steven Gerrard and Duncan Ferguson.

In the last year, the overall average house price was £373,052, 7% higher than the previous 12 months and 7% up on the 2020 peak of £348,492. The majority of sales in the last year were semi-detached, although detached homes fetched an average of £542,949.
