The Atlanta Falcons went 0-3 in the preseason but accomplished quite a bit over the last few weeks. After acquiring outside linebacker Matthew Judon and safety Justin Simmons, the team extended cornerback A.J. Terrell just in time for roster cuts on Tuesday.
The work didn’t end there for head coach Raheem Morris and general manager Terry Fontenot. Atlanta traded quarterback Taylor Heinicke to the Los Angeles Chargers while simultaneously filling all 16 practice squad spots.
