If you’ve seen any behind the scenes footage of the Dallas Cowboys, you know that quarterback Dak Prescott and former Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott are the best of friends. The two got their careers going around the same time and have been a staple of the Cowboys’ offense ever since.
Until this year, that is, when Zeke was released by Dallas. It took a long time, but he finally landed on his feet with a new team when he signed with the New England Patriots a couple of weeks ago, just in time for the ramp up to the start of the season.
But there’s no doubt Dak missing his friend, and he wanted the world to know it Saturday when he walked his way to the stadium for an NFL preseason game. He took the time to make a statement by donning Elliott’s No. 15 Ohio State jersey.
Great choice @dak 🤝 @EzekielElliott https://t.co/I0UwSJwFVQ

Now, we’re pretty sure Prescott isn’t an Ohio State fan, and more of an Ezekiel Elliott fan, but seeing the scarlet and gray on him is pretty cool.
Well played.
