Bobby Wagner suited up in a Rams uniform for the first time last week against the Bills, a homecoming of sorts for the Los Angeles native. Having grown up in Southern California, returning home was a factor in Wagner’s decision to join the Rams in free agency.
His first game didn’t go according to plan, with the Rams losing 31-10, but it was still fun to see him wearing blue and yellow at SoFi Stadium. He kept his Los Angeles roots in mind, too, paying tribute to Lakers legend Kobe Bryant in a cool way.
Wagner had a photo of Bryant on his right thigh pad, which you could see through his yellow pants. It was a nice touch from the L.A. native to honor an icon during his first game.

In his Rams debut, Wagner made seven tackles, had one sack and a tackle for a loss, flying around the field as the middle linebacker for Los Angeles. Wagner and the Rams will be back at home once again this Sunday when they host the Falcons at SoFi.
