LOOK: Allegiant Stadium doors open to reveal Al Davis torch

As the NFL begins formulating its plans to prepare for the 2020 season with hopes of still starting on time, the Raiders’ new stadium in Las Vegas is also showing some of its finishing touches.

The giant doors, which are to be opened on game day to reveal the Las Vegas strip from inside the stadium, were open today and in so doing, gave anyone within eyeshot a full view of the shiny new Al Davis torch standing just inside.

Along with the stadium nearing its completion, with a schedule to be ready by August, the team’s new facility in Henderson is to be completed this month.

The team has begun moving into the training facility, just a mile up the road from the stadium.

With the NFL mandating all teams hold training camp at their home sites due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tuesday evening the team officially announced their new Henderson facility is where camp will be held, which means the full-on move to Las Vegas will occur sooner than originally planned. And from the looks of it, their stadium will be in pretty good shape when they arrive.
