Aaron Donald is in attendance for the Rams’ practice with the Cowboys on Wednesday. Unfortunately, he will not be participating because, well, he’s retired.
It’s still great to see the future Hall of Famer visiting the team he played his entire NFL career with, his first time attending a Rams practice this summer. He and Andrew Whitworth are spectating Los Angeles’ practice, entering the facility to a greeting from Kevin Demoff, the Rams’ COO.
Donald then went on to meet some of the Rams’ players on the field while they were stretching and warming up, including first-round rookie Jared Verse – a player who’s hoping to make up for some of the pass-rush production lost when Donald retired.

Donald has been spending a lot of time back home in Pittsburgh since retiring from football, focusing on his family and business ventures on the East Coast.
Though the Rams would love if he came out of retirement and played this season, he’s satisfied with everything he accomplished and has no plans to play football again.
