Lonzo Ball will miss 6-8 weeks following arthroscopic surgery on knee

After it was announced this morning that the organization and Ball would be making a decision on treatment options for the small meniscus tear in Lonzo’s left knee, we have our answer.

On Thursday afternoon, the Bulls announced that Lonzo Ball will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee to repair the small meniscus tear and will be sidelined for 6-8 weeks.

In Ball’s absence, expect Coby White and rookie Ayo Dosunmu to continue stepping up as their play without Ball and Zach LaVine in the lineup has been impressive, as noted by K.C Johnson of NBCS Chicago.

Zach LaVine, who has missed the last four games after tweaking his left knee last week against the Golden State Warriors, is expected to return ‘in the near future’, per Shams Charania of Stadium.

Stay tuned to Lonzo Wire for updates on Lonzo Ball’s injury.
