Long Lost Family's Maureen reunites with Keith on radio as DJ reveals amazing connection

Popular Long Lost Family's Maureen Sluz and Keith Thomas Joseph were reunited on a radio show on Wednesday - only for the presenter to reveal an amazing connection.

Maureen and Keith's story moved people to tears when they finally found each other through ITV's Long Lost Family.

On Flex FM London's pre-recorded Zoom call on Wednesday, the now-famous siblings appeared as guests alongside radio hosts Lindy Layton and Huw.

And in an amazing twist, fans of the radio show were struck to find out Huw is actually one of Keith's four children and Maureen is his long-lost aunty.

Huw dropped the bombshell at the very end of the call.

He said: "One last mega surprise, Maureen I'm very proud to say you are my new auntie and Keith you are actually my dad."

Keith, who had relocated to Australia, explained the TV show had changed everything he had believed about himself.

He said: "For me, it changed everything. Everything I believed about myself.

"I was a child who was loved. Circumstances meant it couldn't happen the way it normally happens."

In the show, the retired mental health nurse found out his mother Betty was forced to give up him up for adoption when she was 21.

At the time, she had no choice because she had no job or family to support her.

Instead, she entrusted Keith into the care of distant relatives Arthur and Florence Joseph which allowed her to keep tabs on him.

Long Lost Family is available to watch on ITV player.
